Product description
Warner's Distillery (originally named Warner Edwards Distillery) was founded in 2012 by Tom Warner and Sion Edwards.
It is based at Falls Farm in Northamptonshire, where the owners grow the botanicals used in the gin formula; there is also a spring that provides water for production. In 2016, the partners parted ways and after a few years the company changed its name to Warner's Distillery. Harrington Dry Gin, the company's first product, debuted in late 2012. After the partners parted ways, its profile was changed to a more spicy one. The botanicals remained the same, but their proportions changed. They are: juniper berries, coriander and cardamom seeds, elderberry, nutmeg, black pepper, cinnamon, angelica root, lemon and orange peel, and one that the creators do not disclose. Warner's Harrington Dry Gin has won several prestigious awards, including a gold medal at the 2017 International Wine & Spirits Competition.
"In the aromatic bouquet, strong notes of pepper and cardamom intertwine with elderflower and vanilla. In the taste, juniper comes to the fore, followed by notes of orange and cinnamon; only in the long finish does the pepper return, accompanied by nutmeg." Warner's Harrington Dry Gin is best served with an "Indian" tonic and a slice of fresh orange.
