Product description
Mezan Rums is a collection of carefully selected rums from the broadly understood Caribbean, including Guyana, bottled in their most natural form.
Mezan rums always come from a single distillery, making them a unique example of the style of rum distilled in that location. They are never additive-free, have no added sweeteners, are not colored, are not chill-filtered. They always come from American bourbon barrels.
Mezan Panama 2008 is a blend of rums from a single, yet undisclosed distillery in Panama. Produced from molasses and distilled in a modern multi-column system. The individual components of the rum matured in two sets of white oak barrels from American bourbon. First, they matured for 3 years in a tropical climate, then were transported to Europe, where they spent another 7 years maturing in barrels. Bottled in 2018 in its purest form - without filtering, without added sugar, without coloring. Limited edition to 3,800 bottles. In its bouquet we will find accents of leather, vanilla and a hint of lime leaf. In the taste of fudge, orange peel, tobacco leaves, cinnamon and nutmeg.
