Product description
The creation of Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a multi-step process that gives it its unique flavor and aroma. The base, Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, is matured in new handcrafted white oak barrels. The barrel is heavily charred and lightly toasted. The whiskey is then aged in a second Double Oaked barrel, which is lightly charred and heavily toasted to bring out an additional, more delicate, sweet oak character. Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is an amber-colored spirit with rich notes of dark fruits, caramel, distinct honey, chocolate and oak. Each sip of Woodford Reserve offers a blend of vanilla, dark caramel, hazelnut and spice flavors, followed by a long and creamy finish, with lingering notes of honey and apple.
This is a bourbon perfect for drinking over ice or in cocktails like the Double Oaked Old Fashioned.
