Product description
The oldest champagne house, founded in 1729 by Benedictine monk Dom Thierry Ruinart. At the age of 23, he learned about a new product at the time, wine with bubbles, which, at the urging of his uncle, prompted him to take up this subject. As the company grew, it made significant investments, including buying ancient cellars dug under the city of Reims, where the beers it produces are still maturing today. In 1817, the family obtained the noble title of Ruinart de Brimont and has been running the company from generation to generation to this day.
Nowadays, the company is still developing dynamically, additionally offering the possibility of visiting its estate and the aforementioned crayeres near the city of Reims, the charming interiors of the quarries are truly wonderful, which is reflected in their inclusion on the UNESCO World Heritage List and classified as historical monuments.
Ruinart Brut Champagne produced from a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. It matures for at least 3 years in the chalk cellars of a house near the city of Reims. Dry, but made in the fresh characteristics typical of this producer. It has a beautiful golden color, in the nose it is full of citrus aromas, combining with aromas of toast and a bit of nuts. On the palate it is round and well-balanced, with a fine, distinct effervescence. Very harmoniously combined fruit flavors, with an accent of brioche and vanilla. The finish is long and subtle, with a lasting refreshing citrus note.
Perfect as an aperitif, served at a temperature of 8-10 degrees. It works well in combinations with seafood, shellfish, and wherever champagne is the only wine served with a meal.
