- Connoisseurs Choice is an old whisky label from Gordon & MacPhail’s portfolio.
Product description
Connoisseurs Choice is one of the oldest whisky series in the Gordon & MacPhail portfolio.
It debuted in the mid-1960s, when most Scottish malt distilleries were producing for blenders, not even considering promoting their whiskies as single malts. Today, over half a century later, Connoisseurs Choice is still a successful competitor in the single malt market and has its devoted fans. The Caperdonich presented here, distilled in 1968, just three years after production resumed after a 60-year break, was aged for 14 years in oak barrels, mostly American oak. In 2002, the distillery distilled for the last time.
