Product description
Dzama Rhum was founded in 1980 on the island of Nosy Be off the northern coast of Madagascar. The company was founded with the idea of packaging Scotch whisky, but with the bottling of whisky, the issue of using empty barrels arose.
The idea for their use was to mature local rum. Soon, the success of the rum trade and the need to rationalize transport costs forced the transfer of the business to the capital of the island, Antananarivo. Currently, Dzama Rhum controls 60% of the alcohol market in Madagascar.
Dzama Blanc rum is the first rum produced by Dzama. It was prepared in such a way that it can be enjoyed without any additives, but its potential is best presented in cocktails. It matured for 3 months in oak barrels. In its bouquet we will find primarily strong accents of vanilla and sugar cane. Classic white rum, perfect as a base for cocktails.
