Product description
Glenmorangie Finest Reserve 19 years old debuted in the autumn of 2017 in the Travel Retail offer.
It is the work of Brendan McCarron, responsible for maturing the whisky, working under the watchful eye of the legendary Bill Lumsden, master distiller and creative director of Glenmorangie. This edition is based on distillates aged for almost two decades in the finest ex-bourbon barrels made from slow-growing oak in the Ozark Mountains in the states of Arkansas and Missouri. This whisky, dominated by creamy and citrus tones, reflects the distillery's style to the fullest extent. Glenmorangie currently sells 6.5 million bottles a year, which places it in fourth place in the most popular single malt whiskies.
Aroma: fresh and expressive, apple blossoms, eucalyptus, mint, peaches, oranges, vanilla, sweet bread and notes of oak and candied ginger.
Palate: mildly creamy, vanilla, honey, cappuccino, butter cookies, apples, apricots, oranges, sugared almonds and subtle oak notes.
Finish : quite long, with notes of vanilla, toffee, apricot, orange, mint leaf and a delicate bitterness of oak.
