Product description
Maison Bisquit was founded in 1819 by Alexandre Bisquit, who was only 20 years old.
His family had been distilling since the mid-18th century, but did not use their own name in the name of the product. Among the admirers of this cognac were Winston Churchill and King George VI, who awarded Maison Bisquit the status of "Official Supplier of Cognac" in 1951. In 1966, Bisquit was owned by the Pernod Ricard group, in 2009 it was purchased by the Distell Group, and the last change of ownership took place in 2017, with the acquisition of the brand and stocks for 52.5 million euros by Gruppo Campari.
The Bisquit Dubouché Extra Vielle presented here is a cult cognac bottled until the 1980s. "Distilled in traditional stills from grapes from the Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne growing regions, famous for the best climate and soil conditions for this drink. The eaux-de-vie used in this blend were aged for 35 to 50 years. The cognac has a dark amber color and releases wonderful aromas of vanilla, roasted almonds and spices. The flavor palette is as soft as velvet, with intense notes of fruit candy, hazelnuts and cinnamon. The finish is extremely long with a beautifully woven bitterness of oak."
