Product description
Maxime Trijol installed his first alembic in 1859.
In 1954, the family company became a licensed wine and brandy broker, and five years later a commercial distiller. Today, the family owns vineyards in two key wine regions in the region, Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne, planted primarily with Ugni Blanc grapes, and distillation takes place in 22 stills. Maxime Trijol is one of the few cognac houses that has a hand in all stages of cognac production – viticulture, distillation, maturation and bottling. The Premier Cru Reserve presented here is a top-quality blend of eaux-de-vie distilled from Ugni Blanc grapes from the Grande Champagne region and aged for up to 35 years. This cognac won two gold medals, in 2016 and 2017, at the International Spirits Competition in New York. It is an excellent accompaniment to a high-class cigar.
