Product description
Silver Seal may not be the most well-known independent whisky distributor, but it is highly regarded among connoisseurs and collectors.
The company is considered (unofficially) to be the heir to the legendary Sestante, an Italian distributor that went out of business in the 1990s. Silver Seal has produced a number of extraordinary whiskies in the last decade, and the mastery of the cask selectors is now legendary. The Glenrothes on display here was distilled in 1990 and aged in a sherry cask for 11 years. Bottled in November 2001 at 43% abv in an edition of 620 bottles.
