Product description
The history of the Pampero brand begins in Caracas in 1938. Two friends – Alejandro Hernandez and Luis Toro – decided to start producing rum.
They did not have much experience in this field, but they were determined to experiment with innovative solutions. They were the first in Venezuela to use oak barrels to mature the drink, creating the first añejo rum, aged rum, in the history of this country. The result was a drink so smooth, with such a depth of flavor that it led to changes in local legislation regarding rum production. Pampero rums are made from fresh sugar cane molasses and are triple distilled in three different types of distillers - column, kettle and pot still.
Pampero Añejo Especial rum is an original drink, produced according to the recipe of the first aged rum in the history of Venezuela. Aged in white oak barrels after American bourbon. In its bouquet we will find creamy, sweet, light accents. Notes of oak, vanilla, honey, accents of sweet fruits, rum.
