Product description
Clément rums have been produced in Martinique since 1887, when brothers Homère and Charles Clément purchased the 43-hectare Domaine de L'Acajou sugarcane plantation and founded a rum distillery.
The production methods they introduced are still honored today. The rhum agricole from their Martinique distillery is a spirit made with fresh cane juice, instead of the traditional rum made with molasses. Vieux Agricole XO rum matured for at least 6 years in oak barrels - a combination of bourbon barrels and barrels made of fresh oak.
