Product description
Mosstowie whisky was produced by Miltonduff Distillery between 1964 and 1981. It was distilled in a Lomond still, a cross between a traditional alembic and a column still.
Its lower part is no different in shape from a traditional alembic, while the neck contains three movable rectification plates, the position of which determines the length of contact of the vapors with the copper. Mosstowie was used to produce blends and today remains one of the rarest brands on the market. Here we present the Signatory edition limited to 242 bottles, part of the Silent Stills series. The whisky comes from a single barrel (no. 12886) filled on October 20, 1976 and is bottled at a natural alcohol content of 54.8%. The 700ml bottle comes with a 50ml miniature.
