Product description
JBA Byron is a mysterious brand of Japanese whisky bottled in 1967 by Toyo Jozo Breweries. Toyo Breweries was based in the city of Izunokuni in Shizuoka Province and produced Ji-whisky, also known as Jupiter Whisky.
The company is currently part of the Asahi Group holding company, the largest beer producer in Japan, and since 1954 also the owner of Nikka Distilling Company. JBA Byron whisky was created in cooperation with the Japanese Bartenders Association ( JBA), so it is no wonder that it is described as The best bartender's choice. Unfortunately, we did not have a chance to try this whisky, but since it bears the name of Lord Byron, an English romantic poet and one of the key figures of the era, it seems to us to be a drink with a delicate palette, provoking reflection.
