Jack Daniel's 1895 Replica Bottle / Unpacked / 43% / 1.0l
Product description
Jack Daniel's has been the most popular American whiskey for years, with current global sales exceeding 13.3 million cases per year (2018).
It is also the most collectible drink from overseas, with tens of thousands of collectors scattered around the world.
Until 1895, Jack Daniel sold his whiskey in barrels, kegs and jugs. However, bottled spirits were becoming increasingly popular, which both Jack and Lem Motlow noticed. The bottle manufacturer sent Lynchburg various designs, but none of them met with approval. Finally, one day a representative of the company came to Lynchburg and presented, among other things, a strange, four-cornered bottle, which Lem Motlow immediately rejected, but Jack responded enthusiastically to it - in his opinion, unique whiskey can only be presented in a one-of-a-kind bottle.
The first bottles of whiskey left Lynchburg in 1895. They were embossed with the inscription: "Old Time Distillery No. 7 Jack Daniel Distiller Lynchburg, Tenn." In 1992, the distillery offered a replica, a faithful copy of the original, which immediately gained collector's status.
