Product description
Tequilera Corralejo, the producer of Corralejo tequila, is one of the few tequila producers located outside the state of Jalisco, Mexico.
Tequilera Corralejo is located in the town of Pénjamo in the state of Guanajuato. The plant is open to visitors, for whom - in addition to the opportunity to observe the traditional tequila production process - there is also the Museo del Vino y la Botellas. This museum has a collection of about 3,000 bottles, most of which are filled with their original contents.
Tequila Gran Corralejo Añejo is a double-distilled añejo tequila, produced from 100% blue agave, matured for two years in charred American oak barrels. This edition was prepared in 1994 at the request of the President of Mexico to prepare 2,000 cases of special tequila to welcome the new millennium. To emphasize the fact that tequila in Mexico is the drink of kings, a special crown-shaped bottle was designed.
