Maker's Mark Bourbon Whisky / 45%
Bourbon Maker's Mark, is the work of Bill Samuels Sr. in the 1950s. of the last century, in the creation of which Julian "Pappy" Van Winkle and Ernest Ripy.
After countless experiments, it was decided on a formula containing 70% corn, 16% winter wheat and 14% barley malt.
Maker's Mark debuted in 1958 and remained unknown until the publication of an article in the Wall Street Journal in August 1980. Today it is one of the iconic bourbons with annual sales of more than 1.5 million cases.
Its name is the idea of Margie Samuels, William's wife and a collector of tinware, which was always decorated with the "maker's mark" (maker's mark). Maker's Mark is produced in Loretto, Kentucky, and is today owned by the Beam Suntory conglomerate.

SEEIngredients needed for Gold Rush:
- 40 ml Maker's Mark,
- 15 ml Honey syrup*,
- 15 ml Fresh lemon juice
- Lemon slice for decoration
*Honey syrup - Mix honey with hot water in a 2:1 ratio

Method of preparation:
- Add Maker's Mark Bourbon, lemon juice and honey syrup to a shaker filled with ice
- Shake vigorously
- Strain into a low glass filled with ice
- Decorate with a lemon particle.
