Jim Beam - Together More Fun

Jim Beam Double Oak / 43%

With global sales of 9 million cases a year, Jim Beam leads bourbon sales statistics.

Since 2014, Jim Beam Distilleries has been owned by the Beam Suntory conglomerate, which has changed the presentation of the whiskey and showered us with new editions. Jim Beam Double Oak debuted in the summer of 2016. Like the flagship Jim Beam White Label it is distilled according to a formula of 75% corn, 13% rye and 12% barley malt and aged for 4 years in fresh fired American oak barrels. While White Label then goes into the spillway the bourbon presented here returns for an unknown period to re-fired barrels. Additional interaction with burnt oak gives the whiskey "character" and depth of flavor.

Jim Beam Black Extra Aged / 43%

Of all Jim Beam's bourbons, the Black version has experienced the greatest evolution. It debuted as Beam's Black 8 years old, the next incarnations were the Jim Beam Black 8 years old and Double Oak.

In 2015, we welcomed Black XA Extra Aged, but after just a year and a half, the "XA" disappeared from the name. The transformation was accompanied by a change in alcohol content - from 45% to 40%, and finally to 43%. Black 100 Proof 7 years old and Black Triple Aged 6 years old editions complete the picture. The Jim Beam Black Extra Aged presented here debuted in 2016 with an alcohol content of 43%.
