This is the 9th barrel selected specifically for the House of Whisky, and the eight previous editions were very popular.
Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Personal Collection is a luxury offering for the brand's most loyal fans. The barrels always come from the top floor of the warehouse, and are selected by a master distiller (currently Chris Fletcher) and a group of so-called master testers. Samples from selected barrels are received by interested party for final approval. Only one out of a hundred barrels makes it through all levels of qualification for the single barrel edition. Presented here is the ninth barrel selected by our experts. Bearing number 21-04462, it rested on rack number R-27 and was bottled on May 24, 2021 in an edition of 324 bottles.
