This is the 10th barrel selected specifically for the House of Whisky, and the nine previous editions were very popular.
Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Personal Collection is a luxury offering for the brand's most loyal fans. The barrels always come from the top floor of the aging warehouse, where "they are exposed for years to extreme temperatures that accelerate maturation and bring out the fullness of the aromatic and flavor bouquet.". Single-barrel editions are the "hallmark of the distillery," though of course they differ from one another. The tenth edition for the House of Whisky presented here is from cask No. 21-04463, the selection of which was approved by Chris Fletcher (in the fall of 2020 Chris replaced Jeff Arnett as master distiller). The whiskey was bottled on May 24, 2021, and the barrel contents translated into 282 bottles.
