Dewar's is the most frequently awarded blended Scotch whisky.
Dewar's Caribbean Smooth is the latest creation of coup master Stephanie Mcleod, and the first in a series of "finishes" of this blender. This 8-year-old whisky has spent the last six months in Caribbean rum barrels, giving it a light tropical flavor. Dewar's blend formula lists about 40 single malts, the key ones being Aberfeldy and Craigellachie.
Aroma
mild, fruity, caramel, sweet cereal, cappuccino, apples, pineapples, a touch of coconut milk and sweet spices.
TASTE
mild and sweet, caramel, vanilla, white chocolate, milk fudge, coconut ice cream, tropical fruit salad and subtle oak notes.
FINISH
medium long, with notes of vanilla, brown sugar, orange peel, coconut shavings and oak.

Dewar's Portuguese Smooth is one of the latest creations of coupage master Stephanie Mcleod, and the third in a series of "finishes" of this blender (the previous ones are Rum Cask Finish and Mezcal Cask Finish). This 8-year old whisky has spent the last four months in ruby port barrels and hits the market in early spring 2021. Dewar's blend formula lists about 40 single malts, the key ones being Aberfeldy and Craigellachie.
Aroma
sweet cereal, honey, brown sugar, cherries, black currants, honeydew melon, notes of cinnamon and toasted oak.
TASTE
sweet-wine, toffee, honey, vanilla, cereal, cherries, apricots, plums, cinnamon and a pinch of white pepper.
FINISH
medium-long, with notes of toffee, vanilla, honey, red berries, nougat, a touch of cinnamon and oak.
