Braes of Glenlivet 25 year old / 48%

The Braes of Glenlivet presented here is the first official edition of this whisky; distilled in February 1994, the beverage spent a quarter century in first-fill bourbon casks, and was bottled at 48% strength in the prestigious "Secret Speyside" series in June 2019, as batch BG/001.

Aroma

intensely fruity, peaches, nectarines, red apples, pineapples, coconut, honeydew melon, vanilla cream, honey, milk fudge, pralines, cinnamon yeast and toasted oak.

TASTE

fruity, peaches, apricots, apples, oranges, bananas, melons, toffee, coconut, vanilla, honey, cinnamon, cloves, hints of candied ginger and oak.

FINISH

long, with notes of vanilla, honey, caramel, fruit salad, sweet bread, cinnamon, allspice and toasted oak.
