This 12 year old BenRiach Sherry Wood whisky, was created using a composition of three types of sherry casks. A fine combination of full 12-year maturation in sherry casks with a finish in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso casks.
Aroma
apricots, orange jam, rum-soaked raisins, black cherries, toffee, honey, a handful of fresh herbs and sherry-soaked oak
TASTE
fruity, oranges, grapefruits, apricots, figs, chocolate-covered cherries, raisins, toffee, vanilla, pepper, nutmeg and notes of candied ginger
FINISH
quite long, with notes of dark chocolate, nut mix, orange, candied ginger and sherry-soaked oak

BenRiach 10 years old has been an excellent introduction to the distillery's wide range of offerings for years. Compiled from distillates aged in bourbon and sherry casks, the selection of which is overseen by master blender Rachel Barrie, it is an obligatory item on the list of Speyside single malts.
Aroma
malt and fruit, red apples, cherries, banana babka, vanilla, caramel, pralines, cappuccino and a trace of oak.
TASTE
vanilla pudding, honey cereal, milk chocolate, raisins, baked apples, a pinch of white pepper and subtle oak bitterness.
FINISH
quite long, with notes of vanilla, milk chocolate, dried fruit, a touch of sherry and oak.

One of a kind heavily smoky whisky from the Speyside region. Distilled from malted barley dried in peat smoke. Delights with a unique, fresh taste with delectable smoky-sweet notes. Perceptible notes of heather honey, fruit and oak. The BenRiach 10 YO Curiositas is a return to its roots - the original character and taste of 19th century malt whiskies from the Speyside region.
