Auchentoshan American Oak

Auchentoshan American Oak
One of Auchentoshan's latest offerings, it debuted in 2014. American Oak is the first whisky from this distillery to be aged exclusively in bourbon barrels, first fill.
Its name refers to the white American oak (Quercus Alba) that grows in the forests of Missouri and Arkansas and is used by law to age bourbons. We recommend this whisky to anyone interested in the influence of bourbon casks on the Scottish single malt palette.
Aroma
mild and creamy with notes of vanilla, coconut shavings, lemon zest, heather honey, caramel and raisins.
TASTE
fresh and delicate, crème brûlée, vanilla, peaches, citrus, coconut shavings and a delicate trace of hay.
FINISH
