Craigellachie 13 year old / 46%
Established in 1891, the Craigellachie distillery is known as the "rock of Speyside," piled above the confluence of the Spey and Fiddich rivers. One of Scotland's most extraordinary single malt wshisky - produced in extremely limited quantities.the Craigellachie production process uses traditional snake coolers to chill the distillate, giving the whisky its unique, distinctive flavor.
Craigellachie whisky is distinguished by its odd age of bottling to reflect the uncompromisingly stubborn and somewhat eccentric nature of the Craigellachie distillery. Craigellachie 13 YO is a blend of aromas and flavors of baked apple, vanilla, fire-roasted pineapple, cloves accompanied by notes of cordite. A very interestingly arranged and balanced whisky.
