Fifty Pounds Gin London Dry Gin / 43.5% / 0.7l
Product description
Fifty Pounds is a gin produced in a small, legendary distillery located in south-east London.
The name of gin comes from the reign of King George II and the Gin Act of 1736. The act required anyone who wanted to produce and sell gin to pay a tax of 50 pounds. Only two distilleries agreed to pay this tax. The gin recipe is based on four times distilled grain spirit. The plants and herbs used in the production of this unique drink are: juniper berries, coriander seeds, Madagascar grass, savory, orange and lemon peel, liquorice and angelica root. Fifty Pounds is bottled in characteristic dark bottles.
