Product description
Whiskey Heaven's Door debuted in April 2018 in three versions – Tennessee Straight Bourbon, Straight Rye and Double Barrel.
The creators of the brand are Bob Dylan, an American bard, composer and winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature (2016) and the Spirit Investment Partnership company, whose CV includes promoting Angel's Envy whiskey. The super-premium "Bootleg Series" joined the offer in 2019 with a limited edition of 26-year-old whiskey. The fourth edition of the series from 2022 presented here is an 11-year-old wheat straight bourbon finished in barrels of smoked and peated whiskey from the island of Islay. As usual, the presentation of the whiskey catches the eye - a hand-made ceramic bottle decorated with Dylan's painting entitled "Lighthouse in Maine" resting in an elegant leather case in the shape of a book.
Nose: slightly smoky, bouquet of wild flowers, brown sugar, vanilla, marzipan, plums, orange peel, pipe tobacco, notes of leather and sandalwood.
Palate: campfire smoke, a hint of iodine, vanilla, caramel, toffee, plums, milk chocolate, oranges, nutmeg, cinnamon and a hint of tobacco.
Finish: medium long, with notes of vanilla, orange peel, chocolate, tobacco, allspice and a hint of smoke.
