Tullibardine 18-year-old Bourbon & Sherry Casks Matured / 43% / 0.7l

Tullibardine Distillery is located in the picturesque hillside village of Blackford in Perthshire. The first records of alcohol production here date back to the 15th century, when the newly crowned James IV purchased beer from the local brewery in 1488.

This particular brewery was adapted to distill whisky in 1949. Since 2011, the distillery has belonged to the French company Picard Vins & Spiritueux and uses its full potential, producing around 3 million liters of distillate per year. The 18-year-old edition presented here joined the basic offer in September 2023. It is a blend of distillates aged in first-fill bourbon barrels and sherry barrels.

Nose: mild, vanilla cream, caramel, milk fudge, biscuits, apples, apricots, lime jam, walnuts, notes of cinnamon and toasted oak.

Palate: vanilla, toffee, milk chocolate, nougat, cappuccino, apples, pears, candied ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and a light touch of oak.

Finish: medium long, with notes of vanilla, butter cookies, walnuts, nutmeg, cinnamon and oak.
