Product description
The story of Larsen cognac dates back to 1926. Jens Reidar Larsen, 24 years old Norwegian, boarded ship destined for America in 1919.
But a long stopover in Bordeaux to repair the boat changed his destiny; Jens Reidar tried to make some money and found a job in a small town of Charente famous for the quality of its eaux-de-vie. He soon married a local girl and became an expert on Cognac. Today the third generation of the family runs the business officially called Le Cognac des Vikings S.A. Larsen V.S.O.P. is a blend of various eaux-de-vie from the Fins Bois and Grande Champagne growing areas. It scored silver medal at the 2017 and 2019 International Spirit Challenge.
