- Glen Keith Distillery was founded by Seagram in 1957. Until the end of the century it was ran by Chivas Bros, then Seagram’s subsidiary, and produced malt whisky for the company blends, mainly 100 Pipers and Passport.

The Glen Keith distillery was built in 1957 by the Canadian company Seagram.
Until the end of the century, the plant remained under the management of Chivas Bros., then a subsidiary of Seagram, and until 1999 it distilled for the group's blends, mainly 100 Pipers and Passport. Pernod Ricard took over Seagram's Scottish assets in 2001, but Glen Keith had to wait another 12 years to resume production. The distillery started in 2013 with a capacity increased to 6 million liters of distillate per year. Glen Keith 23 years old, a proposal of the Signatory Vintage company, is a whisky distilled on May 26, 1997 and aged in hogshead cask no. 72586. Bottled at cask strength (54% abv) and without chill filtration on November 24, 2020 in a limited edition of 252 bottles.
Aroma : floral-fruity, bouquet of wild flowers, apples, bananas, coconut flakes, green tea, vanilla, caramel, lemongrass, damp gravel and sand.
Palate: slightly oily, sweet breakfast cereals, vanilla, toffee, walnuts, green apples, pears, notes of pepper and mint, hay and oak.
Finish : medium long, fruity and grassy, with notes of country orchard fruit, vanilla, honey, licorice, pepper and oak.
