Silver Seal, an Italian company operating since 2000, is considered the successor to the legendary Sestante, founded in 1979.
Massimo Righi acquired the rights to both brands in 2010, after, he says, two years of stockpiling the whiskies. The Highland Park edition is part of a new series called the Wildlife Collection , whose colorful labels depict endangered wildlife and birds. A portion of the proceeds from its sale went to fund the Rock No War and Zimbabwe Project . The whisky presented here, distilled in 1991, spent 23 years in an American oak barrel no. 8090, and its contents amounted to 240 bottles.

Finish: long with strong notes of honey, vanilla and ripe fruit, a pinch of white pepper and cocoa.
