Product description
The Six Isles Blended Malt is a creation of Ian Macleod Distillers from the end of the last century. It is composed of six single malts from six islands, each represented by one distillery. The producer describes it as a journey along the west coast of Scotland, starting from the Isle of Arran, the next stops are Islay, Jura, Mull, Skye, and finally we end our escapade in Orkney. The Six Isles reflects a spectrum of flavor elements, from peat smoke, through salty breeze and notes of iodine, to the sweetness of honey and the breath of the moors. Ian Macleod recently changed the presentation of the whisky, the basic version is called Voyager and is bottled at 46% alcohol and without chill filtration.
