Product description
The MacPhail's Collection is a small line of single malt whiskies from the Gordon & MacPhail portfolio discontinued in 2018.
It consisted of whiskies that were usually young, aged for 8 to 10 years, and friendly to every palate. The 8-year-old Tamdhu presented here, an edition from 2000, made from distillates aged in refill sherry and bourbon casks, is undoubtedly such a whisky. The distillery is located in Speyside and equipped with three pairs of stills can produce 4 million litres of distillate per year. Since 2011, it has been owned by Ian Macleod Distillers. Tamdhu whisky can be found in the formulas of all blends from the Ian Macleod portfolio, as well as The Famous Grouse and Cutty Sark.
