Product description
Savanna Rum was founded in the 1870s in Saint Paul on Reunion Island, a French overseas possession in the Indian Ocean.
It took its name from an estate where a sugar cane plantation and a sugar mill were located at the beginning of the 19th century. However, the intensive development of the distillery and expansion into world markets did not occur until the end of the 20th century.
Savanna Creol 52 is a rum made from fresh sugar cane juice (so-called rhum agricole). The juice was subjected to traditional fermentation (2 days), and distillation took place in a rectification column. Limited edition to 3,000 bottles, debuted in April 2018.
