Rhum Clement Agricole Blanc Martinique (France) / 50% / 1.0l
Product description
Clément rums have been produced in Martinique since 1887, when brothers Homère and Charles Clément purchased the 43-hectare Domaine de L'Acajou sugarcane plantation and founded a rum distillery.
The production methods they introduced are still honored today. Rhum Agricole, which comes from their Martinique plant, is a spirit made from fresh cane juice instead of the traditional rum made from molasses. The award-winning Rhum Clément Agricole Blanc is made entirely from fresh Martinique sugar cane syrup, which, as a result of spontaneous fermentation, turns into an aromatic and flavorful cane wine. It is single-distilled, after which it spends just over 6 months in stainless steel vats. This distillate is then gradually diluted with spring water. In this case, however, we are dealing with a version with an increased alcohol content of up to 50% and offered in 1-liter bottles. The bouquet of Rhum Clément Agricole Blanc is a set of accents of cocoa beans, bittersweet chocolate, black tea and unrefined sugar. Vegetal notes and caramelized sugar also appear on the palate.
