anCnoc Blas / 54% / 0.7l
- It looks like the owners of Knockdhu Distillery are quite an artistic bunch.
Product description
The owners of Knockdhu Distillery seem to be artistic souls. They recently recruited renowned Scottish cartoonist Peter Arkle, and this time they chose fashion designer Patrick Grant.
After visiting the distillery and talking to staff and locals, he created a fabric design (seen on the anCnoc Blas edition label) that captures the character of the whisky. According to the artist, his “creation tells the story of the area and the distillery, the hill and village of Knock, and presents a vision of the creation of anCnoc Blas.” (Blas is Gaelic for “taste”). The edition, aged in sherry and bourbon casks and bottled at 54% abv, was released in 2016.
