Product description
The Glen Garioch Distillery has officially been in existence since 1797, however local records show a distillery producing whisky on the property in 1785.
Glen Garioch is owned by Morrison Bowmore Distilleries, which has been part of the Japanese conglomerate Suntory since 1994. In the years 1908-1937, the distillery was owned by William Sanderson & Son, who used the distillate to create their own VAT 69 blend. The 10-year-old version presented here dates back to the beginning of the new millennium (pre-2009) and contains whisky aged almost exclusively in bourbon barrels.
