Product description
Johnnie Walker has been the most popular blended Scotch whisky for years, and has been for ages. In 2017, 18.3 million cases were sold, which translates into a 21.7% share of the global blended Scotch market.
Diageo, the brand's owner, closely follows market trends and constantly offers new and increasingly attractive editions of Johnnie Walker. Black Label Sherry Edition debuted in the summer of 2018, composed of components aged largely in sherry casks. Interestingly, in the official statement, the Diageo spokesman did not use the phrase "finish maturation"; the blend's components spent at least 12 years in sherry casks and then were blended. The formula of this edition is built around Cardhu, Blair Athol and Strathmill malts.

Finish : quite long and spicy, with notes of vanilla, cinnamon, pepper, a hint of red berries and a distant whiff of smoke.
