The winery is located in the town of Sotillo de la Ribera, in the province of Burgos, on the northern bank of the Duero River basin; its vineyards are situated at elevations ranging from approx..830 to 930 m above sea level.p.m.It has approximately 54.8 hectares of its own farmland spread across 27 parcels with a wide variety of soil types—ranging from calcareous soils to gravelly and sandy-gravelly soils, to clay-rich valleys.Since 2022, all of their vineyards have been certified organic, and fermentation is carried out using indigenous yeasts to better express the local terroir.The winery uses hand-harvesting, selection on two sorting tables, and gravity transfer (without pumping) to preserve the fruit’s integrity as much as possible.They primarily grow Tinto Fino (a local variety of Tempranillo), as well as smaller quantities of Garnacha, Albillo Mayor, and Merlot, striving to ensure that their wines reflect the unique character of each plot in the vineyard.

This wine is made from 100% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) grapes grown in vineyards located at an altitude of approx..900 m above sea level.p.m.in Ribera del Duero.It is aged for 2 years in French oak barriques , and then aged for 3 years in the bottle, for a total of 5 years of aging—the requirement for Gran Reserva.The winery sources its grapes from plots where the climatic conditions—cool nights and wide temperature ranges—help preserve the grapes' freshness and structure.

Appearance: a deep cherry-red color with garnet highlights and a dark rim, indicative of many years of aging.

Aroma: a complex bouquet—ripe fruit (black cherry, blackberry), notes of tobacco, cedar, and cocoa, with hints of eucalyptus, herbs, and mineral notes.

Taste: full-bodied and structured—well-integrated tannins, fruitiness, and spice, complemented by crisp acidity and a mineral edge, with a long finish featuring notes of chocolate and spice.

Food pairings: It pairs perfectly with meats—roast lamb, venison, grilled steaks, and strong, long-aged cheeses.
