Product description
Some have called Cardhu a woman's whisky, and there may be some truth to that, as two ladies have worked hard to earn its reputation.
Helen Cumming and her daughter-in-law Elizabeth managed the distillery from 1846 to 1893 and achieved considerable success. It is worth noting that at the time they were the only ladies to hold such a position. Cardhu 18 years old debuted in 2011 along with the 15-year-old version and remains in the company's core offer to this day.
Nose : rich and complex, fruit stand, oranges, pears, plums, apples, vanilla, milk fudge, dry rose petals and polished leather.
Taste: mild and well-balanced, honey, vanilla cream, caramel, milk chocolate, pineapples, oranges, traces of oak and sweet spices.
Finish: medium long, delicate, with bitterness of oak and a slight spiciness of kitchen spices.
