Product description
The Glenlivet Founder's Reserve debuted in late 2014, replicating the style of whisky produced by distillery founder George Smith.
The spirits used in this edition came from refills and fresh bourbon casks. The whisky is bottled without an age statement, which is also supposed to be in line with the practice used by George Smith. We don't know for sure if Founder's Reserve will replace the 12-year-old, but we have no doubt that this edition is a result of the brand's growing popularity. In 2014, Glenlivet overtook Glenfiddich in global sales for the first time.
