Product description
Glenrothes single malt has been bottled in vintage versions for many years, the oldest of which was the 1971 Vintage.
In 2012, the company proposed something opposite, a multi-year version of Oldest Reserve, composed of distillates from 1967, 1972, 1977, 1979 and 1980. The result is a completely unique whisky, whose aromatic and flavor palette is the result of maturation extended over decades. Glenrothes Oldest Reserve is available exclusively at Travel Retail .
Nose : powerful and rich, clear notes of sherry, dried plums, dates and apricots, oranges, almonds, nutmeg, ginger, notes of leather, peat and oak.
Palate: rich and complex, bitter orange jam, vanilla cream, nutmeg, candied ginger, prunes, raisins, almonds and sherry-soaked oak.
