Product description
Bottle No. 14525
This is an absolutely unique and collectible edition of whisky from the Bowmore Distillery.
The distillery is located on the western side of the Isle of Islay. The plant is famous for producing peated whiskies. Bowmore is one of the last distilleries that malts its own barley. This unique composition was compiled from distillates produced in 1964 and aged for 15 years in sherry and bourbon casks. It was bottled in 1979 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Bowmore distillery. When it appeared on the market, it was hailed as one of the greatest whiskies in Bowmore's history. It was bottled in stylish bottles imitating decanters from the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. Bowmore Bicentenary is a very hard-to-find whisky.
