The brightest star among our Banff collection, a commemorative edition from 2003 issued for the 35th anniversary of the Samaroli company.
Silvano Samaroli took his first steps on the whisky market in 1968 and soon became famous for his extremely carefully composed offer. He often poured the contents of a purchased barrel into another, so that the palette of his whisky would differ as much as possible from the official editions. The whisky presented here comes from a sherry barrel filled in 1974, its contents were enough to fill 360 bottles.
Nose: full and complex, vanilla, honey, sweet breakfast cereals, beeswax, lemon peel and oak.
Taste: rich and beautifully balanced, vanilla, honey, lemons, apples, walnuts and a delicate bitterness of oak.
Finish : long and sweet, fruity with notes of honey and oak.
