In 2013 Diageo introduced an extension to their Singleton line called The Reserve Collection. It included Trinité and Liberté with Artisan added in the spring of 2014.
The range was created by accomplished Diageo Master Blender, Maureen Robinson. Trinité is NAS expression crafted from whiskies that have been matured separately in white American oak casks, European oak casks, than married together in undisclosed type of casks. Trinité is part of the distillery Travel Retail range.
Nose: lots of honey toffee sweetness, apples and pears, roasted nuts, traces of freshly ground coffee.
Palate: rich, dark chocolate, red berries, nougat, sweet pastry, vanilla, toasted oak, ginger and nutmeg.
Finish: medium long, malty and spicy with delicate fruity sweetness.
