Product description
In October 1995, Glen Garioch ceased distilling and many believed the plant's history was over.
Meanwhile, two years later, on the 200th anniversary of its foundation, it resumed production, also changing the whisky profile. Gone was the slightly peated malt, replaced by a fragrant and fruity malt, distilled from unpeated malted barley. The Glen Garioch 1997 Vintage presented here is a whisky distilled shortly after the resumption of production, aged in first and second fill bourbon casks and bottled at 56.7% abv.
