Product description
Breakout Rye Whiskey debuted in 2012 from The Tennessee Spirits Company, a local spirits distributor based in Nashville.
The company did not reveal which distillery the whiskey came from, most likely the MGP distilling complex in Indiana, nor was the mash formula made public. Tennessee Spirits Co. announced the construction of a distillery in Pulaski, Tennessee, and even entrusted the position of master distiller to a retired Woodford Reserve manager, David Scheurich. Unfortunately, the plans did not come to fruition, in August 2013 the company announced a lack of financial liquidity and today we cannot say whether it is still operating.
