Product description
Scenes from Lynchburg is one of Jack Daniel's most popular collectible series. It presents images from the town and distillery in twelve scenes.
It debuted in 1998 in Europe in 1-litre bottles and almost every year a new edition presenting a new version hit the European Travel Retail chain. Around 2001, “paintings” in 750ml bottles containing 40% ABV whiskey appeared in Canada, and two years later in the native Lynchburg (this time the whiskey had 43% ABV). Currently, the entire series consists of twelve 1-litre bottles/scenes; eight 750ml bottles (43% ABV) and three 750ml (40% ABV). Here we present the second edition of The Barrel Truck, presenting an everyday scene from the distillery’s work. A slightly old-fashioned truck packed with barrels of fresh distillate sets off on a short journey to the maturation warehouse. Once they arrive, the 400-pound barrels will be rolled into a warehouse and placed on racks where they will sleep for at least four years, during which time the distillate will undergo a miraculous transformation into Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey.
