Product description

The youngest officially bottled Balblair from more than a quarter of a century ago, now a jewel in every collection. The whisky was intended exclusively for the Italian market.

In the 1970s and 1980s, Italians were into young single malts , and the 5-year-old Balblair stood up to its competitors, Aberlour and Glen Grant. At the time, Balblair was the backbone of Ballantine's blends , as the label emphasises.

Aroma: fresh, slightly alcoholic, with notes of vanilla, pear candy and lemongrass.

Taste: spicy, a bit of cloves, cinnamon and oak.

Finish: rather short, warming, spicy.
