Midori melon created by the famous Japanese company Suntory, known for Yamazaki and Hibiki whiskeys, is an intensely sweet melon liqueur with a vivid, green color. It debuted in 1978 at a bar trade show in New York and quickly became an icon of cocktails thanks to its distinctive taste and attractive, intensely green color. Midori is made from a blend of high-quality melons, natural alcohol and sugar. Suntory keeps the exact process a secret, but it is known that the infusion of natural melon flavors plays a key role here.
